Our Story

Nestled in the heart of the NoPa neighborhood of San Francisco and inspired by the warmth of southern hospitality, Early to Rise brings a fresh take on brunch. Here, we celebrate the art of homemade meals crafted with precision and care, and infused with hospitality. Founded by Andrew McCormack, a chef with a rich background in Michelin-starred kitchens, Early to Rise was born out of a vision in 2016. Andrew saw a gap in the dining scene - a need for accessible yet high-quality brunch options. His mission was simple; to share the joy of a premium ingredient brunch with everyone.

Early to rise is more than just a restaurant: it's a testament to resilience and determination, having thrived through the challenges of a global pandemic from a bustling pop-up to a beloved bright-and-mortar locale. Inspired by Benjamin Franklin's wise words, our name encapsulates our ethos- a place for those who cherish quality, community, and the simple joys of a well-started day.
